In today's divisive climate, anger pervades our culture regardless of where we turn, what media we consume, or how we interact. Regrettably, Christians are not immune to this polarization. Despite the call to Christian unity, our churches are increasingly fragmented along lines of class, ethnicity, gender, and politics. As these divisions deepen both within and outside the church, the role of the preacher becomes crucial.
